Built for personal trainers who'd rather coach than chase admin
The problem I couldn't stop thinking about
Every self-employed personal trainer I came across was running a real business — clients, payments, programmes, weekly check-ins — out of WhatsApp threads, paper notebooks and spreadsheets held together with hope. They were brilliant at coaching, and losing their evenings to chasing payments and rewriting workout plans by hand. Something was clearly broken. The big platforms existed, but they were built for gyms and large coaching teams — pricey, bloated, and charging you more every time you added a client. Nothing felt built for the solo trainer who just wanted to look professional and get their time back.
So I built it
I'm Hannah Wolfe, the founder of CoachDesk, based in Newcastle. I'm not a faceless software company — I'm one person who builds tools that solve real problems, and I build them out in the open. CoachDesk is new. I built it in 2026, and I ship improvements every single week based on what real trainers tell me they need. That's the trade: you get an honest price and a founder who actually replies — not a support ticket that vanishes into a void.
What I believe
Every self-employed personal trainer should have the same business tools the big gyms have — without the big-gym price tag, and without paying more just because their business is growing. One flat price, no per-client subscription fees, and only the tools you'll actually use.
